Regular Shaped Slate Memorial Plaques

For a more contemporary memorial plaque the regular shaped slate is ideal. Some churches and remembrance gardens will not allow other types of plaque (it is worth checking with the relevant authority before buying, as everywhere has different rules and regulations on what is allowed).

About the material
The material is “honed” which is a state between polished and natural. The finish is better described as “satin finish”. We polish out saw marks from the sides and chamfer all the edges lightly. Images can be used as can decorative separators on dual memorials. These plaques offer the opportunity of borders also. Customers can supply their own images or we can usually find something suitable from our stock of images.
The largest size that we stock in this material is 900mm x 600mm. If a larger material is needed we order as we need.

Fixings
Mostly this type of memorial plaque is laid down flat but other fixings are available. We can provide screw fix: We pre drill the holes and countersink. We can reverse fix so that no fixing is visible on the face. Resin fixing is an option also if neither of the other options are viable.
