Commemorative Plaques and Commemorative Stones

Commemorative plaques and stones are a nice way of honouring a beloved colleague or teacher. Our commemorative stones, like most of our products, are informal and unique.

Not being limited to a few choices of fonts or images, imagination can play a part in the design - we are proud to have made some really beautiful commemorative items. From wedding centrepieces to school head teacher retirements or to honour a pupil of a school that has gone on to do something great or for any other type of commemorative occasion.

Informal and formal Commemoratives

The stone we use is predominantly slate but we also have just started experimenting with Chinese Paddle Stones (the flat lighter coloured stones in the pictures). They are perfect for commemorative gardens etc but can only lay flat or at an angle.

We can supply pre-drilled plaques for wall mounting and freestanding ones that need no fixing (unless it's really large and we drill mounting studs into the base for secure fixing onto a plinth or directly into concrete).
